This staff is always top tier. I tend to get the same male Hispanic waiter each time and I forget his name but he is the best. Very good at suggesting a meal once he understands your tastes as well as a wine pairing. The food here is always fresh and Devine. They have an upstairs which can be dedicated to a private party. I truly love this place. Although it isn't like some other non traditional spots where the portion sizes are enormous it makes up for it with the flavor and service. Thanks for always doing it right.

Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here. Service was incredible, too. I will be back.

Absolutely obsessed with this place, especially their happy hour!!! When I first discovered it I was mad it took me so long. Every single thing I have eaten here has been incredible!!! The bar area is small but it's a lovely atmosphere and the staff makes you feel like family. I go out to eat alone a lot and being here makes me happy.

Salvatore... made this special!! Our waiter was fantastic and made every meal sound delicious.. so I went with his suggestion "the special"... pasta in a vodka sauce with 4 "HUGE" shrimps.. it was tasty.. I personally would have like a little more sauce.. again to me it was a little dry but the flavor was spot on. The butternut squash raviolis were deliciously sweet and savory for those that enjoy sweetness for dinner. For me 1 ravioli was enough I couldn't eat a whole plate of it .. Now the calamari was perfection. Light batter ... perfectly cooked.. that was a hit .. so I would come back if I'm in the area but not sure I would drive all the way down there when I have other Italian restaurants near by .. we did go in the evening on a week night .. so not to many people so can't say much about the ambiance.. although on a weekend parking would be very hard to find .

I had one of the best meals I have ever had in my entire life yesterday for lunch. I wanted to write this review because today I couldn't stop thinking about how I wanted it again. The service was amazing and the food was exquisite. I will definitely be going back.

We tried some new dishes today. I felt the Spaghetti Carbonara was too buttery and otherwise flavorless, along with pretty basic noodles. However my wife thought it was great. The Pollo Marsala was good with tender chicken and a somewhat mild sauce. The Italo Cescon Pinot Grigio wine was a bit oaky for my taste but my wife liked it.

Cucina Alessa is a cozy two story Italian restaurant at the heart of Huntington Beach on Main Street. On a Saturday afternoon this spot had a few diners but it was not packed and made for perfect timing to try this place out. As a starter; their Bruchetta al Pomodoro is simple and light. The Bruchetta al Pomodoro comes with several pieces of focacetta bread topped with basil, garlic and fresh tomatoes. The bread has a nice, flaky crust. They also have a good Minestrone Soup that comes with lots of vegetables. It's a healthy and hearty. For my main entree; I got their Tortelli de Carne. This consisted of a short rib tortelli with walnut porcini cream sauce. The porcini cream sauce was tasty. Being a mushroom fan; I was appreciative of the good mushroom flavoring. As for the short rib torelli; I had expected more tender pieces of short rib. The meat inside was more of a ground beef type but it was still overall a good pasta. Cucina Alessa made for a nice, simple yet good Saturday outing and was happy to visit.

Great happy hour menu for bites and drinks. They allow happy hour at the bar or outside tables. Our server was attentive and made sure we were satisfied with our drinks and dishes. They were able to accommodate my request for cioppino as had ingredients available as it's not on the menu.
